Direct Indexing
Indexing of database content, including binary large objects (BLOBs), occurs quickly and intelligently, ensuring that search results are always pulled from the most current content. Initial direct indexing is compiled at more than 50,000 records per hour, with subsequent revisits at up to one million records per hour. Autonomy Ultraseek intelligently learns how frequently content changes and automatically schedules indexing accordingly, minimizing bandwidth usage and delivering more relevant results. Since the index of database content is precompiled and search results are returned immediately, users don't have to wait for lengthy database query processes to run.
