Velocity contains three modules:

• Search Engine: Built with a unique architecture, Velocity’s Search Engine lets enterprises search their content as is, without requiring any preprocessing of documents or data. Enterprises have complete control over how their content will be indexed, never having to reformat documents or change how documents are created and organized. This is important when content has evolved over time and there are no standards for creation, organization or management. Most other search engines require enterprises to preprocess and reconfigure documents or organizational structures before the crawling can even begin, often requiring dedicated resources and weeks to implement. Velocity does not force any such preprocessing.
• Content Integrator: Providing a single point of access, the Content Integrator is a federated search solution that lets users perform multiple searches simultaneously through as many diverse informational sources as needed.
